This outfitter is one of the best cat men in the business. His goal is to get his hunters nothing but large male lions. He has three packs of hounds and leaves nothing to chance. He has all the modern equipment—trucks, radios. In the past, all of my hunters have come home with their lions. This outfitter charges more, but he is worth it. Cost of this hunt is $5800 plus license. Food lodging and home cooked meals are provided. Simply the best.
New Mexico
Gila Wilderness Area. This outfitter has been hunting, guiding and an outfitter in this area for eighteen years for elk and mule deer and he knows the country like the back of his hand. Since this will be his first year for hunting mountain lions as an outfitter, the cost of the hunt is $2000 plus a $1500 trophy fee after you kill your lion. Included in this seven day hunt is food, lodging, and 1X1 guide service. The terrain is rolling hills not steep mountains.
