Alaska
Hunting with this Alaskan outfitter gives you the unique experience of personal attention, which means you will not get lost in the shuffle. As a small outfitter, he will work with you on every facet of your hunt to make it successful. Dall Sheep Conducted in the Denali National Preserve, this runs from August 10-September 20. Rams measuring 36-40 inches are not uncommon. It is usually booked a year in advance. Cost of ten day hunt for food, lodging (tent), and 1X1 guide $17000. You need to book one to two years in advance for this hunt. Moose There are two areas for moose hunting—The Denali Preserve and Alaskan Peninsula. Moose season is in September and usually coincides with the rut. Last year they were seven for seven in kills with four bulls well over 60 inches. This ten day hunt includes lodging (tent), food, and 1X1 guide and costs $18000. Brown Bear This hunt gives you the opportunity to hunt the largest brown bears in the world. Hunts are conducted on Alaskan Peninsula. It is very possible to kill a nine to ten foot or larger bear! These monster bears live in some of the most remote and rugged country left in the world. You will stay in comfortable tent camps or a lodge that provides excellent accommodations. Spring hunts start in April and run through May. Fall season starts in October and runs through November. Peninsula hunt is $18000. Interior Grizzly This is a spot and stalk hunt taking place in the Denali Preserve concession. *All hunts are fair chase and all prices are in U.S. currency. Northwest Montana This hunt is an outstanding combo hunt for elk and mule deer. You will be hunting out of a contemporary log lodge with all the modern conveniences. You may shoot one elk and either one whitetail or one mule deer. This is probably the best comb hunt that Montana has to offer. Six day 1×1 guided hunt for $4500 including food, lodging, and guide. If there are two hunters who would like to hunt with one guide the cost is $4200 per hunter. Must apply for license by Mar. 15. Last year was 100 % draw. Archery combo hunts are also available with 1×1 guide for $4000. You may harvest one elk, one deer, and one bear on this hunt. A six day 2×1 hunt is $3700. Hunting dates are Sept. 7-Oct. 19. New Mexico – (Archery) Some of the most outstanding hunting for elk is found in unit 16b of the Gila Wilderness. Elk from 340 B.C. to 380 B.C. are common. This outfitter has been hunting the Gila for many years and has a great track record for mature bull elk. It is a seven-day horseback hunt for $3800 includes food, lodging, and 2×1 guide. Black Bear
Quebec – Archery – Crossbow – Muzzleloader This is a brand new 100 square mile territory opening this year. This territory is being run by an experienced guide and outfitter. My wife and I stopped there last year, and the cabins and food were excellent. I am considering a hunt there this spring and expect 100% opportunity for my hunters. Hunts will run from the middle of May to the middle of June. The cost of this hunt is $2500 for six days of hunting and all meals. Transportation and guide included. Licenses are extra. Northern Saskatchewan (Spring) – Archery (Crossbow) – Rifle – Muzzleloader For 21 years this family has owned and operated one of the most successful bear camps in Saskatchewan. They have repeat hunters who have returned as many as eight times in a row. Last year they had 100% opportunity with a 400+ lb. bear shot every year. There is a 20% color phase. It is located next to a provincial park (in which hunting is not permitted.) Nice lodge with meals – how can I describe them?—SUPER — comes to mind! The guides are extremely knowledgeable about the bears and the area they are hunting in. The cost for five full days of hunting plus all of the above is $2500 taxes and license not included.
